The Taylor Mill Co., from the research I've found in the archives, started in Princeton BC in 1945.
After researching this "jewel" here is what I found out from the Grand Lodge of Masons in New Westminster BC. "This is a Loyal Orange lodge medal. It was also known as the "orange Order, a sectarian fraternity of Irish origin, historically dedicated to maintaining the Protestant ascendency. J.G. Taylor served as Master of Excelsior Lodge No. 2102 meeting in Princeton, and when he became Past Master in 1941 he was presented with this lapel Jewel manufactured by Dominion Regalia Co. that is still in exists today.
We found this old metal star in the homestead while we were cleaning up. It was in a junk drawer in the kitchen.
I wanted to find out more about the family from our homestead... mainly from familysearch.org
The old hunting trailer gets an over haul!
There will always be something to gaze at on the property... like amazing rocks!
